What's New from USCIS this October?
- USCIS's new application fee hike is being blocked by a federal judge! At least for now, USCIS is not allowed to apply the new, increased fees which was originally scheduled to go into effect on October 2nd, 2020. All applicants should follow the original fee schedule. Learn more here.
- Form I-944 Public Charge Rule is Back! Green card applicants are now once again required to submit Form I-944 with Form I-485. For applications submitted already without Form I-485 before October 13th, 2020, USCIS will issue an RFE. Learn more important details here!
- Congress Allows USCIS to Increase Premium Processing Fees:The increased application fees are temporarily blocked but the increased premium processing fees are cleared! Learn more here.
