4 Ways of Keeping Your Immigration Applications Moving During COVID-19

Many of our applications/ cases are affected during COVID-19 pandemic, mostly because USCIS closed their doors and paused most in-person services.

However, that doesn't mean we can't do anything at all! The good news is, there are some ways to keep things rolling even if your state is undergoing a lock-down. Here are some options I collected for you:

1. Phone Call for Immediate Help

If you are in need of an immediate immigration help though, you can call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833.

2. Virtual Assistant Emma

Emma is USCIS's newly released online virtual assistant. You will be able to locate the information you need quickly with Emma. This is a bilingual auto-generated assistant so it has it's limitation.

3. File Online

USCIS now gives more flexibility during this difficult time. Some applicants are allowed to file certain forms online. If you know you are eligible to do so, you can create a USCIS account here and submit your application securely. It's easy to review and track the process.

Note that online filing is not available for all applicants and forms. See an eligibility list here!

4. More Options

Click here to see USCIS's contact us page for more options to contact them!
